Privacy Policy

Address (“Address”, “we”, “us”) is an early-stage product operated by an independent developer in India. Address is a personal project and is not yet an incorporated company. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you use getaddress.in and the Address application (the “Service”).

Account information you provide: your name, email address, mobile / WhatsApp number, working areas, and profile photo. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google.

Listing content you create: property details, descriptions, and photos you paste or upload to publish a listing.

Usage & device data: log data, device / browser information, and, where you have consented, product-analytics events.

To provide and operate the Service — authenticate you, create and publish your listings, deliver enquiries, provide support, keep the Service secure, and comply with legal obligations. We process account data to perform our agreement with you, and analytics only with your consent.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf:

• Hosting, database & authentication — Supabase (data stored in the Mumbai region).
• Deployment & content delivery — Vercel.
• Sign-in — Google (“Sign in with Google”).
• AI text extraction — Hugging Face (Inference Providers), used to convert the property message you paste into a structured listing.
• Analytics — Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, only after you grant consent.

We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.

Listings you publish are public by design and viewable by anyone with the link. Sensitive owner details (such as the owner’s contact and exact address) stay private by default unless you choose to reveal them.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for any period required to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. You may request deletion at any time (see “Your rights”).

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, a hosted managed database) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you may request to access, correct, or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and seek grievance redressal. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@getaddress.in. We will respond within a reasonable time.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. Optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) are set only after you accept them via our consent banner; you can decline without affecting core functionality.

The Service is intended for real-estate professionals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
